FAQ for Cat
drowning
1. If unconscious, lift your cat up by the hind legs to allow water to come out the nose or mouth.
2. Lay your cat down, on either side, with the head slightly lowered.
3. Check the dog's ABCs, and perform CPR as needed.
4. Place a blanket around your cat.
5. Take your cat to a veterinary hospital immediately.
Even if you revive your cat, an examination by a vet is still necessary because fluid buildup in the lungs and effects of hypothermia may result.
